Missouri State Capitol: From the outside, the capitol looks like others I have seen, classical columns, freezes, grand steps, and a dome. Inside, the rotunda and second floor are filled with murals and wall carvings. Even fire extinguisher cabinets and drinking fountains are decorated. There...More

We always tour state capital buildings whenever in a capital city and this is one of the prettiest we have seen. Magnificent renovation, updated while keeping original class and style. Brass elevator door! with floor pointer hand that moves! Fancy painting on walls and ceilings....More

We walked all over the capital bldg. I especially enjoyed the museum and looking at the artwork on the third floor. It was an educational experience.

First capital building I have been threw, but won't be the last. I was in awe entering and going threw with the guided tour. Tour guide very knowledgeable and would highly recommend waiting for the free tour if you get there between times.

We brought a group to tour and the Missouri State Capitol building has a lot of history throughout the halls. We were impressed with the museum within the Capitol building. Everything was great and well cared for.

Beautiful building with intricate murals. The history museum is very interesting with interactive displays for young folks. The bust gallery of famous Missourians is sort of eerie but very nice. Enjoy the cool and quiet of a weekend visit

Not sure what to expect, but it was well worth the time. It is interesting to see where the rules and laws of our state are made and all of the history

There a lot of things I like about this state capitol: the grandeur of the place, the southern charm of the people who work there and occupy its halls, the statuary of Thomas Jefferson and others. But the best part of this place is touring...More
