After a good experience on our last visit, we ordered a farmer’s platter and a wicked platter today at 1:30 pm. The meal finally arrived at about 10 past 2. It should take about 5 minutes to prepare a plate of cheese with some relishes and cold meats – not 50 minutes. Not only did we have to wait an extraordinary time, the meal had diminished somewhat since we were there last. It was a lot smaller than our last experience, and smaller than the photos of the very same dishes on their Facebook page.

Staff didn't discriminate against us, everybody experienced a long wait. In all, about 10 serves of cheese, cold meats and bickies on 4 or 5 tables were delayed. And none of these required ANY COOKING.

I'm not sure what they were doing instead of preparing our meals. I won't be back for quite a while!!!

We called in here to try a local cheese. We were pleasantly surprised to be offered a free tasting of a number of cheeses. The staff member gave interesting information on them. I bought a variety of cheeses, Brie, Camembert, cheddar, cheeses in oil, sheep cheese. We loved them so much we went back two days later as we were leaving the area to purchase more. Great tasting cheeses, competitive with cheeses of Europe etc, and at a good price. Well worth a visit.

Mid morning and being not too busy afforded us the opportunity to browse the many offerings at a leisurely pace. Spoilt for choice with the assorted Tasmanian cheeses, wines and other gourmet foods. I enjoyed tastings of the camembert and brie and my wife the wicked blue. As we still had 26 days touring ahead, a small stock of cheeses and chocolates were purchased and into our cool bag. Pricy but worth the splurge, after all, what are holidays for! Service friendly and helpful. Definitely a 'must stop' in Richmond.

We stopped on a wine, gin and whiskey tour at the Wicked Cheese and had a lunch of 4 different local cheeses, of which the Pepper Berry Cheddar and Ash Brie were fabulous. Local fizzy drinks and a good range of biscuits and extras on the board. I had GF biscuits. Staff attentive and friendly and food was great value.

Popped in quickly to see what the fuss was about, and after trying a sample (or 2... or 3...), walked out with a selection to enjoy on our road trip. I'm personally a cheddar fan, so this was right up my alley.
If you're in the neighbourhood, do call in.

Slightly different but great. L;it’s of interesting cheeses to taste. A small selection of local wines available for sale too. Very friendly owners/staff. Thought the chilli Camembert was excellent. Apparently dogs are welcome too

Arrived early and assumed staff were getting ready for the day. However it seems this was the standard approach as no real efforts at communication were made. Managed to taste a few cheddars only after prompting and i am still unsure if they have paid tasting available (was happy to order and pay) and yet this information was not provided. Staff are really not engaging or customer focused. Wish I had read past reviews before visiting. Don’t waste your time.

Unlike many other 'free tasting' offers in Tasmania, the Wicked Cheese Co actually want you to taste a range of their products! Friendly staff. Loved their triple Brie. Lots of other local produce available - honey, woodwork products, jam, chocolate.... Definitely worth the stop.

This was a great little find just outside of Richmond. The staff were very welcoming and let us try all the cheeses on display and some locally made caramel nut fudge - amazing! The cheeses were delicious and unique - whisky cheddar was a favourite. As we were flying back to Sydney in the afternoon we bought the cooler bag and ice pack for $5 they offer to take our goodies home on the plane. There were also hand made chocolates in so many varieties and flavours, I'd just stocked up on presents at Cadbury but wish I had come straight here, it was way better boutique chocolate and not expensive. The store also had loads of small goods and beautiful hand made soy candles, I'll be back next time I'm in Tassie!

After a lovely morning at the Bonorong wildlife sanctuary, we were ready for a great meal. Instead of eating in the sweet downtown area of Richmond, we asked around and were told by several locals that the Wicked cheese shop is the place to eat. We love our cheeses and these can certainly stand up against several across the globe! Upon entering the shop we were greeted by a very friendly and knowledge woman that took us through the complimentary cheese tasting. If we lived here, I would buy my cheeses from them every week/few days. We stayed for a memorable lunch----
When is a sandwich not a sandwich? When it is a glorious selection of fresh lettuces served on some lovely bread with slices of fresh Brie and cheddar draped on top, and some delicious house-made relish served on the side. The open face cheese sandwich was a memorable lunchtime meal!! The ploughman/farmer's platter was really special as well. The coffee was terrific and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. YUM!!
