I’ve been going to Lebanon for years and have never visited Sidon before. I immediately fell in love with it’s history and beautiful old buildings. This place really is a time warp, you could be in the 1800’s here! The souks are a bit touristy...More

After exploring the Sea Castle, spend hours getting lost in the winding streets of the old souk - one of the best preserved remaining souks in the country. Be on the lookout for hole in the wall Turkish Delight stores where little old men are...More

You can get lost in here for hours while wandering through the atmospheric streets. Cobblers, furniture-makers, metal workers, spice stalls and fresh produce make for interesting sights and smells in every direction. It's a proper souk - not like in Beirut.

Old city of Saida is probably one of the most touristic attraction that every single person should visit. The narrow alleys, the old buildings (renovated or not), the artisans with old professions, the food and its delicious smell and taste all over, the Khans, the...More

We enjoyed it very much, as it always such fun to wander through the rabbit warren of a large souk. But the offerings were mostly clothing, and little of interest to the tourist.
