We had a tour inside this museum and we got nice experience about the Soap factories history especially at the city of Sidon , the tour guide gave us a good brief about every thing at the museum ,

There is a small shop next the museum , and we bought some soap made souvenir.

The place is worth to visit to get some new knowledge .

First time visiting a soup museum. Gained a lot of insight on its history and soap making process. There is a shop in the museum where you can get many pretty souvenir soaps too.

This well done museum inside an old soap factory highlights the process of making soap. There is a very good coffee shop on premise as well as an expensive gift store selling soap.

This is a quite small museum, even with the (free) guided tour and watching the video at the end, it won't take you more than 30 minutes to pass through it. Still, it's interesting enough and everything is modern and well-signed in multiple languages. The guides speak both English and French well and seem to like what they do.

During our tour we visited the soap factory which is basically having a historical tour on how it started and how it was made. You get to have a guide on site to explain the process and the history of it. There is a small souvenir shop and a very expensive coffee shop (5000L.L. (3.5$ US) for a tiny lemonade glass and 3500L.L. (2.25$ US) for a Turkish coffee.

Overall : not bad but not great either.

Apart from the obvious (it's a soap factory!) I really enjoyed the short video at the end of the visit which also features artisan soap makers from other parts of Lebanon and is also very informative!
