We took a day cruise down the Mississippi River from Hannibal. This cruise was enjoyable, the guides were informative and a little bit corny. We learned that Mark Twain was a riverboat pilot and that the name Mark Twain actually means two fathoms deep. The boat went by the Jackson Island from his book Adventures of Huckleberry Finn . The... More

When we arrived in Hannibal we didn't realize that we made our anniversary trip the same weekend as the annual art festival. We were initially told the dinner cruise was booked, but we inquired if we could be put on the standby list in case of a cancellation. While standing at the counter, someone cancelled. We made the cruise and... More

We took the Oct 15 dinner cruise. The food was delicious. The staff was courteous and well-trained – they managed the buffet line and refreshed our drinks very efficiently. However, we felt that the boat was too crowded. I spoke with another passenger who, when attempting to make a late reservation, was told the boat was full; however, she was... More

Beautiful sunset cruise. Weather was good. River was flowing but calm. The crew was very attentive. We sat on the top deck. The jazz band is on the first deck but the sound was good. The food is a one time buffet, so load up. Food was pretty good for a buffet. I would recommend this as a relaxing end... More

We went on the cruise yesterday, it was relaxing and very informative. The captain gave history as we cruised along the Mississippi and also threw in some comedy, which was nice. You can sit anywhere on the 3 decks that you like and there's a snack bar with alcohol too. Lovely day out on the water!!

This riverboat was so much fun. We did the dinner cruise & it was very relaxing which we needed. We wanted a strawberry daiquiri but we're told the only way we could get one of those was to buy a $12 souvenir glass which we did not want. The female bartender was not pleasant about it, but that was the... More

We had a perfect evening to be on the river. The 4 piece jazz band was wonderful and not so loud as to be unable to carry on a conversation. The dinner was very good (except for desert - that wasn't good). Service was exceptional - the ladies were polite and helpful. I would recommend it to everyone.

Called in advance for reservation and was told they were booked but would add my name to waiting list. Staff was excellent in keeping me posted and called just as we were leaving to drive the 250 miles to Hannibal to say they had a cancellation and that we could go on the dinner cruise. Boat is not a paddle-wheeler,... More

This was our last night in town and what a way to relax and enjoy what time we had left on vacation. Right away we ordered some adult beverages and headed to top of boat. What a view of the town and we enjoyed watching the sun set. The dinner itself was great - delicious food. We were stuffed and... More
