Went to the Gordon Setter National Specialty at the Purina Farms Event Center. It is a beautiful site with plenty of free parking, indoor and outdoor dog show arenas, and other AKC dog events. It is south and west of St. Louis on good roads but out of the business of the city. We went to a Bar-B-que hosted by... More

Was there for 2 weeks. OMG, just the best. Stayed the first week in overflow RV parking. FREE, Water and Electric. Awesome surroundings and quiet. I was there for dog shows and the dogs even sleep well, I actually think I was the first up at 7 am. Second week I was there for the 2015 PRTAA National Specialty. I... More

Great facility for the dog show and so many other things to see on sight. It would be well worth your time to see the entire facility and learn so much about the Purina Company.

Excellent choice for family fun. Lots to do. Barn for kiddos to be up close & personal with various animals; cow milking, too. The dog show is the best!

I thought maybe I had taken a wrong turn, but it is off a back 2 lane road. The facility is large - check out their maps on their website. Big hills. Lots of parking. I was there for a Specialty dog show and its a very nice facility. We did totally fill the grooming area. Bathing tubs in the... More

My husband and I visited recently as he had been a grain salesman in the past and we were very interested in the science of how grain is formulated for different animals. This is a lovely place and we enjoyed the visit but it is definitely designed for children. We took a walk up to the Event Center and enjoyed... More

Purina animal chow runs this small farm. There is a very nice dog show, but it only lasts about 15 minutes.....canine pals catching Frezbies (sp?), obedience etc. A big barn with horses, cows, bunnies, sheep to pet. A big cat house and dog petting area. A big souvenir shop full of animal themed merchandise. A display on how dog food... More

The dog show facilities are amazing! Surrounded by tons of green grass with a couple exercise pens. Great visitor center to show off Purina's products and all the different animals at their petting zoo. Very well run. Very clean.

Located West of St Louis in Grey Summit MO, north of the intersection of Highway 44 and Highway 100, Purina Farms is a perennial favorite for kids of any age. Admission and parking is free, there are farm animals to see up close (and pet), with milking demonstrations each day. There are canine performances three times daily along with wagon... More
