Purina Farms is a large, modern facility in a beautiful setting about 30 minutes from St. Louis. A variety of farm animals (cows, horses, pigs, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, goats) are housed in one building for visitors to observe and pet. At 10:30 a.m., children had an opportunity to milk a cow. When the manual milking was completed, the utter... More

Don't miss the dog show, agility, big air, and the newest competition of distance diving. "Famous " is an amazing diver, 32 and a half feet, twice today! The world record is 33 feet. Andrea and her dogs will visit your school, senior living center, etc. I really enjoyed seeing the training steps for a dog to learn catching frisbees.... More

Purina event centre is a great venue suitable for dog shows. The move by the Poodle Club of America is inspired. Plenty of parking and facilities. Buggies to take you to the further away car parks. Very airy and light despite the number of dogs and people there. 🐩🐩🐩superb three days

Purina Farms is a bit of an amusement park with animals. It's not a zoo, as you get to interact directly with the animals. They had newly born animals like piglets and chicks, a dog show, a wagon ride, and while we were there, an Easter egg hunt for humans and dogs. Free entertainment, all you have to do is... More

The dog show was fascinating. My kids could watch it several times in a row. The cow milking was educational, as was petting the baby animals. For my family, this isn't an 'all day' visit, but very fun for 1-2 hours. They have concessions available as well.
