It appears that this building was one of the inspirations for the building featured in the Back to The Future movie series. The architectural history is fascinating and the building features many fascinating displays. Well worth a visit.

Just learning the history of the building is enough for the visit, see it at night also, You will find this has claim to the second most photographed landmark in Missouri,, so you gotta go !

Great photo opportunity. This Courthouse is one of only a few remaining courthouses of its stature. You won't regret stopping by. There is an actual cage elevator with a man who operates it.

You actually won't need a map as you can see the top of the Court House with its huge star from most places in town! If you come into town on Route 66 then you will need to turn South onto Main Street and go 2-3 blocks. Our... More
