Overview
More
Everyone knows the name Titanic! Everyone knows Titanic struck an iceberg! And everyone knows Titanic was lost! She sat at the bottom of the ocean for 75 years before they found her in 1985. A second expedition to the wreck site went out in 1986 and that expedition was co-led by the owner of this museum. The artifacts you see throughout the ship are REAL and valued at over $4 million dollars. You'll be able to touch a growing iceberg, experience the 28 degree water, try and steer the ship and pay tribute to the 2,208 passengers and crew that were on the Titanic. You will enter as a guest and leave as a Titanic Passenger!

I saw the traveling Titanic on the Queen Mary in California. The artifacts are beautifully preserved, it's self guided and it would be nice to have more information available.

We visited the museum. So many interesting things to see. It was a magnificient ship. The passengers must have had a wonderful experience while on the journey.

Be sure to allow at least 2 hours to see and absorb everything. Many artifacts, room reproductions, and history on the passengers, Even had frigid water to place your hand in to see how long you could stand it. Great gift shop too!

The museum was a joy to visit. The staff there was knowledgeable and helpful, I could have stayed longer but the schedule we set didn't allow for that.

All presented in an interesting fashion with informative guides and signage. Quite realistic, occasionally sobering, but always interesting to a student of maritime history.

Much more thorough than the traveling exhibit that had come to Kansas City a few years ago. Visitors get an audio device that can be used to hear specific recordings at various stations. The one thing I did not like was placing values on recovered...More

The design of the museum - from the outside visual throughout the inside rooms - is outstanding and compelling. The artifacts and replicas are stunning in their detail. It's not cheap, but it was worth every penny. Our family of three (two parents and 12-year-old...More

This was our first visit to the Titanic Museum as I had always been skeptical. It was very interesting. We received our boarding passes of a Titanic passenger and it became a challenge to see if our passengers were mentioned in any of the displays....More

Thought there would be more to the museum. We thought we would be going out on the top of the "ship" maybe experience a little more. But it was ok, it is not something I would go back to see again
