Thank You For The Music ABBA is Amazing!
This show is a MUST SEE on any trip to Branson. What I like is they stay true to the music and don't try to 'make it their own. Performers are very nice people. They make our grandkids always feel like royalty!

    Amazingly Surprising Must See
To start off, I’m not now, now have I ever been a fan of ABBA’s music. My wife, on the other hand, is possibly one of their biggest cheerleaders. But, since I love my wife I figured I would make the ultimate sacrifice on our first visit to Branson and take her to the Abba tribute show. I have to admit, I was very surprised, because I totally enjoyed the show. The personalities were great, their voices were amazing, and the show was constant fun from start to finish. In addition, the almost two hour presentation was sprinkled with lots of fun Abba trivia. I’m still not an Abba fan, but next time we come back to Branson I will once again take my wife to the show.

    No live music
No live music. I expected at least a piano and guitar. This was essentially a glorified karaoke performance. The singers had good voices and were good dancers. However, they did not look or sound anything like the original ABBA singers. The choreography, recorded music, playlist, and lighting were great. The intermission videos were enjoyable. The venue was comfortable and had good acoustics. However, the video screens on either side of the stage were sometimes distracting.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again … a track show does NOT equate to karaoke. That is such an insult to the four professional performers who give 100 % to sing, dance, interact with the audience, change costumes, and keep an audience engaged and entertained for two hours. I’m sorry if you expected a “piano or guitar,” but nowhere in any of the marketing does it say you would experience that. This show has been in Branson for 12 seasons, growing and improving with every year. It is a full production show - with fully custom, created from scratch, tracks. Yes, the performers do not impersonate ABBA - that is why the show is called a “Modern Tribute to ABBA” and why we make it clear up front that we will be paying tribute to their music as ourselves (which, honestly, we think is a unique aspect of our show). This sounds like an instance of someone entering a show with a certain set of expectations and not being able to adjust an opinion when they realized that the show was not going to be what they had originally expected - despite all the marketing that clearly describes the show in detail. The videos are an element that we’ve added to enhance the production and each video was painstaking created and customized to every song to add to the overall quality of the show - sorry you found them distracting. Since the show is a track show, I’ve personally tried to add as much as I possibly can in every aspect of the show - and that includes the videos. We certainly appreciate your compliments on the show as well; thank you for acknowledging the things you enjoyed and appreciated. We certainly understand that not everyone will love every aspect of the show, and that is totally fine - but I would hope if you knew the literal blood, sweat, and tears that go into every single performance of this show - you wouldn’t refer to the show as “glorified karaoke” again.

    VERY ENTERTAINING and GREAT PRICE!
Great show! Very energetic and entertaining quartet... also learned a lot about ABBA that I didn't already know. The singers interacted with the audience and met in the lobby during intermission to visit and give photo opportunities. We didn't have to break the bank to buy tickets...yay!

Thank You For The Music & The Great Show
My wife and I went to this show yesterday afternoon (September 24, 2024) and, as usual, were thoroughly entertained. These young folks do Abba better than Abba in our opinion. We've been taking in their show twice each year for several years now and have never left disappointed. Highly recommend this show if you're needing a "pick me up" or just want to be entertained.

Great Show! High energy, great moves and excellent vocals. Show will have you dancing in your seat!

Despite the current Covid-19 restrictions we were all seated appropriately. The singers were happy to engage with the audience.

I don't know what to say about this show beside that it was every bit as awesome this time as it was the other four times I've seen it. This is one of those shows that is always a must for me when I go to Branson. They do a wonderful job of capturing the essence of the group, while being completely up front about the fact that they are NOT trying to be ABBA. They also do a great job of teaching the audience about the group. They are informative without saying too much. I particularly love how this show is non-stop dancing, singing, joke-telling, and just connecting with the audience. If there was one thing I would want people to know while attending this show is that they should not be afraid to clap along, sing along, and even dance along to these stellar renditions of ABBA's songs. Go see this show!

We loved it- from my 74 year old mother to our girls, ages 12 and 16. Lots of fun songs, and history and facts about the band we didn’t know. If you love ABBA, GO! If you like ABBA, go, and you will love ABBA when the show is over. They voices worked well together and it was great how the crowd was included. It wasn’t over the top or boring. It was just right.

We LOVED this show. My teenage (19 and 15) girls loved it too. They knew most of, if not all of the music. They get the audience involved as well and tell details about ABBA that you may not know. If you love ABBA, it's a must see!

I purchased these tickets mainly for my husband who has been a huge ABBA fan for most of his life and I am so glad I did! We had the BEST seats in the house; literally front and center and had an amazing time. The performers are very talented singers and really connected with the audience. They covered pretty much all the "big hits" and there were plenty of interesting ABBA facts, delivered by them and via monitors on the sides of the stage during the performance. Our daughter and son-in-law will be traveling to Branson soon and I have told her that this has to be on their "must see" list. Really, we do "Thank You For the Music!"

I initially saw Thank You For the Music: A Modern Tribute to ABBA in August 2019 with my mom, sister and great niece. I loved it so much that I had to come see it again but this time I brought my husband. We saw it last night. I loved it even more the 2nd time! All four performers are excellent singers and dancers. I love how they incorporate videos and trivia about ABBA in the show. I especially love how well they work together. They make the show seem effortless. I recommend you see this show while you are in Branson, I also saw Back to the Bee Gees and recommend it as well. Both shows are at Hamner's Theater.

The show was fabulous in sound and visuals. The performers were fun and engaging, and were so friendly when visiting with the audience after the show. We showed our kids Mamma Mia a few weeks before coming to Branson, and so they all enjoyed hearing the songs performed live and loved this tribute to ABBA.

What a wonderful show! They really get the audience moving and singing to the music. It's one show you don't want to miss. Every time I visit Branson, I go to the Abba show. The theater is clean and has refreshments.

My wife and I attended this show on July 17 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Extremely nice voices paying tribute to ABBA, I would highly recommend and would see again. I'm going back to Branson as soon as possible to see their Beach Boys tribute!!

It should be noted that my wife has MS and has to use a cane. The theater was kind enough to arrange aisle seating for her. Thank you!

I've been going to Branson since I was a teenager, and I'm now 60, and this may be the best performance group I've seen. And, I've been to a lot of shows. Their voices are great, and the show is all performance. I like Abba, but haven't been just a huge fan, and even though I didn't even know some of the songs, I loved the show. I highly recommend this show, if you like any of Abba's music.

It means a lot that you enjoyed the show despite not even being a huge fan of ABBA. We love to hear that! Thanks for the review!
