Always wonderful at state park

No surprises the state park is wonderful and as always free. Great for kids all ages. If you're on a budget this is definitely a place to go.

We have visited her before and stopped again for a quick walk around the grounds. Saw all the trout in the outside holding ponds, and watched them get fed with the big truck of food.

Took our family of 4 here to see what it was like. The kids (11 and 8) both loved it - they got to feed the fish (they really liked seeing all the fish jump around and churn the water to eat it all), watch the staff feed the fish with the specialized truck (certain times of day), got to... More

I had never seen anything like this before. Great educational experience. We fed the fish and watched them being loaded on to a truck. Pretty cool! Best of all, a free activity.

It was a great way to spend a morning without any admission fees! Bring a couple dollars worth of quarters for the kids to feed the trout! The kids had a blast learning about fish. A must for all families!

Stop by and visit to see how the fish are hatched to fill the surrounding lakes. Enjoy exhibits and aquariums, a short film and then off to feed the fish. Be sure and bring some quarters to feed the fish

I have lived around this area for years. I love taking my children to feed the fish and look at the different stages in their little fishy lives. My boys love looking at the giant trout in the big tank you can look at from inside the visitor center! Too cool!

See the fish at various stages of growth...a great thrill for the little set...which are released into adjacent Lake Taneycomo (just below the Table Rock Dam)...a cold water trout fan's delight!
