The hatchery is a very interesting place. It's outdoors and the kids can enjoy the tanks of fish in clear water. It is quite a thrill to see fish like this as most kids never get to experience such a thing.

We visit almost year. It's fun to feed the fish outside, and in the winter, there are about a gazillion vultures roosting about. The personnel inside are always helpful, and the indoor exhibits are really interesting. There are a variety of fish, turtles, snakes (including...More

The first thing we noticed when we went into the main hall was the snakes. The size of the copperhead surprised me, the color and size of the rattlesnake made me take notice and the moccasin made me realize they are this far north. All...More

This is a place our family has returned to for many years. Educational and impressive and doesn't cost anything unless you want to buy fish food. We do buy the food, just to see all those fish swirling around. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly...they even...More

This is a great, free place to visit. You can pay 25 cents to get fish food. We bring paper cups and spend a few dollars to feed fish. If you like fish, it is worth the side trip! The visitor center is small, but...More

By far the one unqiue location in Branson. Learn about how fish are raised and transported all over midwet to stock areas for fisherman to catch trout. See fish from eggs to massive 20 pound. Feed the fish and se nature in its best.

1 hour, max maybe 30 minutes, if that. I saw the video, every trout pond, fed the fish, saw the aquarium from both outside and inside, and saw everything inside. If you plan on fishing or going on a trail, plan more time.
