We were amazed at the amount of access we had to the fishery once we came through the small but very informative office. We fed the fish at several of the tanks and walked along each of the tanks seeing the different size and species....More

Visit all the various stages of growing trout. We were there on a Sunday so the hatchery was not open. We were able to watch anglers catching trout in the river which was almost as fun as getting out there yourself

It's free, so it was well worth the stop and was nice place to see how they run the hatchery. You also have a good view of the dam.

Not a major destination, but if you happen to be in the area, it's free and interesting. The hatchery itself is well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and there are some nice interpretive signs explaining how the operation works.

We didn’t know about the hatchery but happened by it on a drive we were taking. It was neat and educational.

Spent about hour and a half with 3 kids under 7 years old. Definitely recommend watching the very brief video (8 minutes I think) upon arrival. Just ask the staff and they will play it for you free. Take lots of quarters. We will visit...More

I like going to places like this. See different fishes.. Sizes and kinds. The catfish is my favorite.

1 hour, max maybe 30 minutes, if that. I saw the video, every trout pond, fed the fish, saw the aquarium from both outside and inside, and saw everything inside. If you plan on fishing or going on a trail, plan more time.
