We took a drive around here and saw the dam that was next to the Hatchery. It was interesting to see all the fish they harvest but I is only something that you would see once. THe view was great though.

Small museum to learn about local efforts of conservation. Then, a walk along the dozens of holding tanks where they are raising trout to distribute to the lakes in the area.

Very neat experience. We were able to walk around ask staff questions and then explore the dam. Would be fun and educational for older children.

Very interesting hatchery. We visited in October- they were collecting eggs from trout (rainbow and browns). Able to see fish from hatch ling to very large 20lb fish. Interesting- they plan 800,000 fish into Tanycomo making it a very popular fishery...

This was a return visit and we enjoyed it just as much on our second trip. We love walking through the visitor center and looking at all the animals and exhibits. It is fun to feed the fish in the raceways. Just remember to bring...More

Since fishing is one of the top draws to Branson for our family, the hatchery seemed like a great “extra” activity. My 11-yr-old daughter wasn’t excited about it, but when she found the fish food dispensing machines, she was happy again😉. I found it all...More

Great little gem off the beaten path. Be sure to take some quarters to get some fish food to feed the thousands of fish. The staff working we're very friendly and helpful.

This is a place to check out while in Branson. My 5 year old daughter liked feeding the fish. It only costs a quarter per handful of food. It was nice to not spend a whole paycheck on something in Branson. If you are into...More

This is a place we visit every time in Branson. Nice visitor center with a good display and video. Bring quarters and a cup or bag for fish food. Has a great view of the damn and head water of lake Taneycomo.

You'll see thousands of trout but you can't fish here. You'll get to view an educational film concerning what they do. Kids love it.

1 hour, max maybe 30 minutes, if that. I saw the video, every trout pond, fed the fish, saw the aquarium from both outside and inside, and saw everything inside. If you plan on fishing or going on a trail, plan more time.
