We enjoyed learning more about brown and rainbow trout here but our biggest takeaway were the grounds attached to the hatchery! Beautiful trails and nice waterfalls (towards the dam on the hatchery side)! Don't miss them! It was also fun to watch all the people...More

If you are wanting a quick thing to kill a little time and learn about the trout in the local rivers, this is a must. Then afterward go down to the river and watch the fish swim.

A larger fish hatchery. They have an indoor area with displays about the fish, other animals, and hatchery operations. Walk among the fish raceways outside and inside. Staff is approachable for any questions.

The volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable. There are a lot of nice displays. Take some quarters to feed the fish. Make sure to go by the waters edge to watch the fly fishermen!

Very clean, not much interaction from stafff to visitors. Otherwise a nice place to visit. Outside area is easy to access, and well maintained. Not much to see on the inside. Being a free place to visit it is well worth your time.

You'll see a film explaining how they grow and replace trout in various locations. This is a fun place and you'll want to take your whole family and your camera.

There are live fish and reptiles inside the building with information about them. Outside are the fish hatcheries. You can buy food to feed them. When you get close to the water the fish come clustering, expecting to be fed. And best of all, it’s...More

1 hour, max maybe 30 minutes, if that. I saw the video, every trout pond, fed the fish, saw the aquarium from both outside and inside, and saw everything inside. If you plan on fishing or going on a trail, plan more time.
