I didn’t take the tour but my hubby and our friend did. They enjoyed it a lot. We drove back by there so we could see the hatchery later too.

Fun for the whole family. Fish aquariums and other animals. Educational video about 10 minutes and then walk around seeing all the fish, and feed them. Fun for all ages. And FREE entertainment. Be sure and bring quarters to buy fish food

We enjoyed bringing our extended family to the fish hatchery. The short video explains the process and the grandkids loved feeding the fish. (so did I). A fun free stop for the family.

Doesn't take long, but educational and fun. Bring something to hold food in and quarters. Fun to feed the fish and learn a bit too

This was a hidden gem! Funded by MO conservation Dept, probably the last FREE activity in town. We caught one of the tours (10, 11, 1 and 2 I think) and enjoyed a very informative, professionally done tour of the hatchery. Learned the importance of...More

If you are in the area this place is worth a stop. They offer tours at the top of the hour which start with a 10 minute film prior to the beginning of the tour. You can walk around yourself, but the guide was informative....More

Outside the in the hatchery part the fish were almost impossible to see but the information posted was very informative. Inside was very nice with a lot of different type fish to see in the aquarium.

If you're into fishing, you will enjoy this. Great for kids. Interesting to see that many fish! Parking lot is a bit cramped.

1 hour, max maybe 30 minutes, if that. I saw the video, every trout pond, fed the fish, saw the aquarium from both outside and inside, and saw everything inside. If you plan on fishing or going on a trail, plan more time.
