The visitor center has a large display area showing the history of the lake, discussing the power generation process and how the dam has enhanced the area. A great stop for young teenagers to learn and understand a clean process to generate power.

What a concept-free state parks in Missouri! This makes nature affordable for everyone. Very well maintained, with a freshly paved walking path to see the Branson Belle, Table Rock Lake and more. A relaxing and enjoyable way to spend the day.

I love state parks but beware that most are limiting what is available in the fall. We went in early October and you still have access to the trails and can even climb the rocks to get to some sort of beach to relax but...More

We used the 2.2 one way paved walking path for our daily exercise while on vacation. It is well maintained but is for daytime use only.

Wonderful network of hiking trails. We especially enjoy the shaded network of trails along the edge of the lake starting at the dam visitor's center.

I think all campgrounds have a couple accessible sites. They usually are next to the shower house/bath house and have a concrete pad.

I'm not sure how much of the park is open during the winter. I'm pretty sure the Marina's are closed. If you go to their website, they should have all of the information.

I don't remember seeing anyone swimming, while we were out sight-seeing. (They just recently had record flooding, so it may not have been safe for swimming at the time we were there). I am providing you with the state parks... More
