Worth a stop for a couple of hours. Fun mirror maze, 3D movie about monarch butterflies, and then in to see all the gorgeous butterflies. They are everywhere! Released some new butterflies. Wear red. They love it and land all over you.

We really enjoyed spending time here. The butterflies are beautiful and it’s a wonderful memorable experience. The place did seem a little dated with exception of the gift shop. Friendly staff.

Very interesting and educational, the aviary where you interact with the butterflies is a much for all ages. There is a mirror maze short films to watch. We returned for a second visit the next day also we were so impressed.

Thank you for taking the time to give us a review! Glad you enjoyed your visit. To answer your question, like hummingbirds, butterflies drink nectar from flowers. A synthetic nectar is essentially sugar water, and since Gatorade is mostly sugar, we knew it would work...More

They care for many types of butterflies. Everyday new ones are hatched and released into the garden. I would not say this is for small children, because you Can Not Touch the butterflies. They might land on you, but you can't touch or pick them...More

Thank you so much for your review! Very glad you enjoyed your visit. Though it is important to maintain the safety of our butterflies by refraining from touching them, kids of all ages are welcome and seem to love the experience!

I would allow an hour to two hours to go through with little ones. We give you a wristband valid for 3 days so it is a great option when the kiddos get a little tired then you can come back again if you would like to!
