We hiked the trails on a 45 degree day but warmed up once we kept hiking to find the caves. It was well worth the adventure to hike along the Lake and find the hidden caves and waterfall area (which was dry when we were there at Thanksgiving). If you go off trail, be sure you are prepared for a... More

Take one of many trails and enjoy a beautiful day in the Branson area. The trail with the 300+ steps will take you to the lake!

Wonderful trails from easy to difficult. Trails run alongside Lake and deep into the woods. Visit the Cave and the Waterfall.

First time for this area. Nice trails even though right in town. Well marked & wooded. Great views! Clearly states mileage, degree of difficulty & good maps!

Great oasis of peace and nature in the middle of the city of Branson. Had a great hike there. Took the blue route to the bottom and was rewarded with beautiful trails, small caves and a natural waterfall. Well worth the trip and it is free. Definitely family friendly.

Sitting amidst the various theaters in Branson, is this wonderful nature park. It has simple trails, un-groomed wilderness and a diverse ecosystem. The LFWA was once a large tract of land with a stone summer home on it. The owner sold it to the city to prevent development on it. There are easy hiking trails and also more difficult trails... This is a very nice hiking area! Most trails are well marked with colored arrows. I do recommend that you wear hiking boots or sturdy tennies...not flip flops! The Bent Tree Loop Trail parallels Lake Taneycomo. We combined a number of trails so that we had a worthwhile hike! The waterfall was dry on 10/03/16 but it was still worth... More

Several trails to choose, from easy to hard. We went toward the waterfall and cave. I guess it had not rained in a while, the water fall was dry. But still a pretty area. Compared to all the other touristy attractions in the area, this one is free.

I was driving through Branson and wanted to get some exercise; I found this place via TripAdvisor. It is close to US65 (about 5 minutes) and has good parking and running bathrooms. I took the Ridge trail, which was very easy (I am used to hiking). I had enough time and I went down the "steps". Great trail, and on... More

Wonderful hike. Make sure to go down the blue trail to the waterfall and caves. The walk along the cliff edge with the lake below is wonderful. Not much of a waterfall but the journey in beautiful. There is a long set of steps 338 to get down and back up, so not for folks that dont like a good... More
