It's a very nice visitor center, have a lot of things to see, they are extremely friendly and have a lot of information of surrounding places. Even had some cotton plants to see and feel which I really liked, gave information on growning, and gave you one to take. The whole place was nice, clean and interesting.

We stopped here as our first stop driving south from the Memphis airport, hoping to get general information about the area and the Blues Route. As other recent reviewers have noted, this is actually a small souvenir/gift shop with limited visitor information and an attached museum which charges a substantial entrance fee. As we were looking for information about the... More

On our way to the Hollywood Cafe, stopped at the visitor center / took a quick walk-around but did not enter the museum section ($10 per person!). I actually was looking for a sticker for my car window (of the Blues Highway logo), but that turned out to be the only thing that this souvenir shop does NOT have.

This so called visitor center is a front for a museum that there is a hefty charge for a little place. This is not a good way to start your journey into Mississippi.

We stopped here with no expectations. Wow. What a very pleasant surprise. The museum is small, but bigger than it appears. Very nice exhibits, but you need to watch each video to make the most of the visit. Our favorite spot was the recording booth. So much fun to hear our blues original. Admission included a fun sticker keepsake. Visitor... More

Great display for Blues enthusiasts! Souvenirs and tshirts . Housed in an old train depot that was moved there from Dundee,MS. If you are travelling Hwy 61, this is a must.

Stopped by because of offer to get $20 dollars in free play at the casino of your choice when you throw away your Southland Gaming card. I accepted the offer. No other reason to stop there.

Didn't bother to take the plunge and spend $10 for the museum itself, but this a good place to stop in for some souvenirs and travel brochures when you first get into the area. There are plenty of guitars hanging on the ceiling, so take a moment to look up and around. Take a few minutes to sit outside on... More

Great Welcome center to stop at...it even has a museum! We stopped her on the 4th of July and the two gals working were the sweetest! We chatted with them for about 30-40min and really enjoyed the conversations we had!! Don't drive bye, make the stop!!
