Delightful little museum and very helpful staff (volunteers?). Could use some help updating displays, but for this "old" couple, it was fine. The biggest "perk" was the staff's suggestion we have lunch or supper at the Blue & White Cafe.

This will take you back in time and is well worth going through. If you know little of the South and primarily the Delta of Mississippi, you must for sure stop and visit!

I needed a break from the casino when the funds got low. So I went toward Tunica and got some lunch then happened upon this little gem. It's bigger than it looks and they pack a lot in. It was very interesting.

Called in on our way from memphis to clarkesdale. Spent about 40 mins wandering around - could easily spend much longer looking at the exhibits in more detail. Easy to park outside - museum all on one floor. Purpose built. This is somewhere where you feel local people are proud of their heritage and have acquired lots of artefacts to... More

An illustration that there is more to some towns than the obvious, may be a casino town to most people today but it actually had an interesting history that is not seen today.

The museum was top rate. We were given a presentation of how life was before the Casino's.They have very interesting artifacts of various items. We were allowed to tour at our own pace , very relaxed and informative.

Worth a stop. Lots of information regarding the Blues Trail through Mississipi, friendly staffers who can answer most of our questions or point us in the right direction. Interesting keepsakes for purchase.

I now know more about cotton than I need to know. I have seen bales of cotton, Donkey drawn carts of cotton, a video of how cotton was the #1 source of revenue here in Mississippi and everything related to the production of cotton. Enough! It is an informative adventure and good learning experience to learn about what used to... More

A somewhat disorganized mish-mash of artifacts that looks like they were moved from a small, underfunded site into a casino funded new building. Needs a professional curator to add context to the wide assortment of things.
