The name alone conjures up images of wind swept treeless terrain, and that is exactly what River Bend Links is. Golf course architect Clyde Johnston describes his River Bend Links course as "a field of dunes". Clyde transformed this cotton field into a marvelous Scottish links style course. Built next to the Mississippi River where animals still inhabit the area, during the round you may see deer, fox, or wild turkey.

We had the impression the course was very understaffed. Upon our arrival no one was available at the bag drops to accept clubs or to assign carts. It was a one woman show and she accepted greens fees, gave us ice and buckets and sent...More

Friendly staff. Only wanted to play 9 and they had 9 hole rate plus senior rates. $20 with cart. Not bad. Nice enough course.

Always enjoy playing here. Wide open fairways with water on a couple of holes. Small greens on few holes keep this a good challenge. We return every year to play .

we went here on a whim, and i was pleasantly surprised. technically, it's sort of out in the open and there aren't many trees on the course itself. normally this would be boring golf, hitting it around in an open field. but that's just it....More

We checked this course out to take a break from gambling and were pleasantly surprised. It has a nice little clubhouse and very friendly staff. Nice mix of sand traps and water hazards. The course was pretty rough when we visited because of some rain...More

A friend and myself played River Bank Links in March. The grass was showing green. It is a fun course, but you must hit straight. Some of the fairways are narrow and in some cases water both left and right. Four sets of tees measuring...More
