It is a hands on experience for big and little kids alike. You will have fun and learn things as well. Showed my grandson - 6 year old how to write his name in binary. He grasped it very quickly. The two grandsons loved the...More

Good place to kill time. Planetarium is a must see. We saw the show Capturing the cosmos and it was great.

I do hope management take note that this place had not changed in decades. It is run down and filthy. Attractions are missing pieces and are outdated. Please have a look at some of kids science museums in our neighbouring countries such as Singapore, Malaysia...More

As a student teacher and nanny I get free entry into science works so have attended numerous occasions. The quality of science works continues to disintegrate for younger budding scientists. Nitty Gritty city is dirty, run down and over crowded, was too many old attractions...More

Great family day out with the kids. Really educational displays that were as informative as they were interactive. Easy way to spend 4-5 hours with the kids

Hi Fiona, There is so much to see & do with all the lights & moving attractions as well as an area upstairs suitable for the 'little ones' that at 17 months old he/she would enjoy it. However just the very nature of the... More

Yes. The best place would be kids area upstairs I think. There are a lot of tactile areas both upstairs and downstairs, so start on the ground floor and try it all. I think If you allocate an hour or so for exploring... More
