More
Nestled in the foothills of Adelaide with views over the city, Magill Estate is one of the worlds few urban single vineyards only 15 minutes drive from Adelaide city. The Cellar Door offers a selection of wine tastings daily. Tailored tastings are available on request and a choice of experiences are on offer. Experiences feature the recently re-developed Drives (tunnels) that showcase the original resting spot of Max Schubert's 'hidden' Grange.

Booked the Twilight Tour for a Friday night. The booking experience left a lot to be desired. Information was conflicting and inaccurate with full options not disclosed. The actual tour kicked off at 6pm. Beautiful grounds and extensive history. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable....More

Penfolds has that ‘we’re really big’ feel about it. Felt like it was aimed at wealthy Chinese businessmen. ‘Pretentious’ springs to mind. Lots of expensive wines and shiny things in glass cabinets dotted about the place. Not a place I’ll visit twice.

We spent a couple of hours with a very good host Ryan and did the complete solo tour into the old deep cellars, old vats, storage areas and the journey back to the now. Was well worth our limited time. Our tasting in the Yattarna...More

We visited Adelaide just to go to the wine regions that we love-McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley. Finishing our trip with the "Ultimate Penfolds Experience" at Penfolds was the best thing we've done. It's a quick 15minute uber/taxi ride from the city. I am glad...More

Informative and enjoyable. Paul, our tour guide, was very knowledgable and a great story teller, an asset to Penfolds. Loved the place, enjoyed the tasting, and will likely be back to try the dining experience next time.

It was great to see how wine was made at Penfolds and to learn the history. We were lucky that wine was being produced when we were there. The wine tasting was great and the gentleman had a lot of knowledge. Reasonably priced for $20...More

They have a tour. I can't remember the exact time but call and book it in advance. We just walked in and were extremely lucky it was just starting. The wine sampling is fun too.
