At the Southern end of Market Street in Pascagoula, you'll meet the Gulf of Mexico! Turn left, admire some of the lovely homes, and you'll run into a little family park where the kiddies can run and play beneath the shade of the trees. Across from the park is . . . the beach!

Beach Park has nicely equipped, well kept grounds. There are numerous public events, such as music or movies, held there each month and it is well utilized for parties and other gatherings. There is a pier that you can walk out or fish from and a well-maintained sand beach. There's plenty of shade in the park and there is a snack shop.

Pascagoula isn't known for it's beaches, so I'm really not disappointed. What did surprise me was there is zero access to the beach, even parking across the street... you can't get there. They do have a pier on which you can walk out, but that's about it. This is not like a tourist town, but still quaint

Nice quiet beach to enjoy a walk with family and friends without all the casino traffic. This place is greatly improved over the years past with nice walk ways, fire pits and benches.

The Beach is beautiful but our water is polluted and nasty. It would be nice if we had an excourgen in Pascagoula to bring us to the Island instead of having to go to Biloxi or Gulfport.

This beach is not swim able. Some small areas do allow swimming within a few feet. Water is dark and dirty. The pier is a great location for fishing and red fish is a popular catch. Need a fishing license . The sunset is worth the visit .

Didn't have time to hit another beach before my flight out so I tried this beach area. I wouldn't go there to swim, but it is a great location for a walk near or on the beach, walk out to the pier, hang out in the sand. The houses are very cool to look at and it was very peaceful and quiet.

So My question is, is the pier where people walk in and admire the view is that the same pier people also fish in (fishing pier) and till what time can we stay and fish (can we also use a cast net) there ?

There is a swimming area don't know about the water. It is the gulf and water there is rather smooth. Not !much wave action or tide change

Not in the park, but to the beach across the street.
