My husband and I spent about an hour at here, walking the trails, enjoying the vegetation and water of Davis Bayou, and listening to the birds. The signage helped us understand what we were looking at, and things to watch for. I was amazed at all the palm bushes and ferns we saw, what I think of as houseplants were growing in abundance in the wild here.

My husband and I travel a lot and go on different walking trails wherever we go. We went on the green and red loop trail which was almost 2 miles long. The trail was well marked. When we went, there had been quite a bit of rain, so some areas of the path were water covered. This trail is not handicap accessible so be advised.

I was pleasantly surprised! There are two adjoining trails, red and green and both are open. Parking is limited. Pretty views of the bayou. Green trail is short and easy loop with benches along the way. Red trail branches off the green one and when you come to where it says end of trail, turn around and look left as the trail continues it’s just not marked but it’s easy to follow.

Walked about 2 miles or so along largely flat paths, with trees or plants all around. Some nice views of the water. Not much blooming this time of year, but saw some red leaves that had turn color. Worth of stop, although nothing extraordinary.

Took a walk and met some nice people. Not a big place but quiet and easy to trek. Office staff was very nice.

I wanted to get out in nature for awhile and this did the trick. When I went part of the trail was closed. Looks like they are making improvements. Still got a good 1.7 miles in. Views of the bayou and lots of vegetation. A portion is handicap accessible.

Nice, easy nature walk. Was a bit muddy in certain areas which made it more of an obstacle course but overall nice walk to get in some outdoor and exercise time.

A nice short walk to the Bayou. There is a nice platform to look out into the Bayou where we just happened to see an alligator. Pretty cool to see an alligator out in the wild. Unfortunately we did not see any birds but we got to see a lot of flowers.
