Always love going to shearwater pottery. See sometime new every time I go. Its one of the few art forms I can afford. Worth stopping by just to look, if nothing else.

After visiting the Walter Anderson museum we headed here. Beautiful pottery! Only place you can by it except for second hand/internet. You can easily find a piece of pottery for under $40 if you just want a small keepsake.

Nice drive from New Orleans, especially along the gulf. Usually open 7 days a week. Fun to check out the newly made pottery, and pick up a new bowl, a lamp, or some unique Christmas gifts. Glazes are pretty earth tones, with natural themes. These...More

I always do my Christmas shopping here and never leave without finding what I am looking for. There is an ample selection of pottery and paintings. The location is really pretty too.

You can purchases replicas of some of the items on display in WAMA here. A selection of plates, bowls, cups and local art are offered. Small building, off the road.
