This kids museum is beautifully done. I loved how different aspects of the exhibits were educational about Mississippi. One could easily spend the day here or a couple of hours if needed to be cut short. Great for ages 0 to adult. It is hands...More

This place is amazing. It's so much to do. The key to enjoying this place is ensure you go at a low traffic time. Keep a close eye on your child because they can get lost in the swamp of active kids. This is a...More

The Mississippi Children's Museum is a relatively new attraction in Jackson, MS (less than seven years old). While it is not the size of Children's Museums in larger cities such as Oklahoma City or Dallas, it offers a quaint and state historical viewpoint on science...More

Feels congested. Need to expand. Needs to add more displays. Like to have more education on screen or live interactive presentation.

I might have had more fun than my four year old grandson. Everything is interactive and fun. I would go again and I know my grandson would too. Highly recommend.

It was something to do with our 2 year olds. They had fun but most of it was a little to old for them.

Depending on your child's age, attention span, and interest, I would say anywhere from 1-3 hours. There is a cafe inside if you want to take a snack break. Everything is self-directed, so it's really up to you as to how... More

Two plus hours. Children will vary in interest, but a minimum of 2 hours is my opinion.
