We went by on a Saturday afternoon so it was closed. The front had major construction being done. I took a photo of it anyway. This beautiful building is a must see.

Downtown, is pretty cool and friendly. I went to Secretary of State Office and this location is near by. Downtown, people seemed friendly and one person helped with directions to SOS office. Parking is amble, but their is some construction going on around the Capital.

2nd stop of the Announcement Tour. Kim and I took a tour of the State Capitol Building while waiting for the festivities to begin. 28 years ago I was administered the oath of the Missouri Bar in the Rotunda. Very nice to behold once again!

Probably one of the best kept tourist sights. The Capitol is open to the public free of charge. Even at night sometimes if Legislature is in session. It is a beautiful building and yours are provided. Don't miss the beautiful grounds and replica Liberty Bell.

I stopped one hour and walk around inside and outside this magnificent building. It's definitely worth a visit.

The Mississippi State Capitol is gorgeous! I am taken aback each time I enter the building. As a Mississippian, I am so proud to have the grounds of our capitol building so beautifully manicured and open. Many who are employed at downtown businesses, law firms,...More

Well, some of us think it is a zoo. I refer to it as "The Puzzle Palace" It is worth taking a day of your time to go, visit with your senator or representative, just to let them know you haven't forgotten their promises. They...More

We found street parking across from the Capitol on Monday morning when the legislature was hurrying to finish its session. Depending on whether they are insertion, parking may be harder to find on the street.
