We have been here before and I reviewed it highly then. We came back on our next trip and the kids demanded that we stop here again. It is hands down the best family museum we have been to (and we do this a lot). They have tons of interactive stuff, plenty of room for kids to run off their... More

If you like history you will love this place, I think this is the best preserved place of how people lived in those days and it is all real and not a look alike people were nice and place was clean. This place is wort it all, I will go again

We've been visiting this museum for years. I love the train exhibits they've added through the years. This is a gem. A hidden treasure. Make a point of going because you won't be disappointed. If you plan it right, there are festivals/events at certain times of the year.

The displays are the actual items, not reproductions. Tells the history of the commerce in the state through farming and the lumber business.

An interesting visit to Mississippi's past. The General Store carried a lot of state products. The doctors office was interesting, a real salute to how far the medical community has come. I highly recommend this museum.

I've been visiting this place since I was a little girl and it is always neat. The grounds are well kept and the staff is friendly. It's also a good place to host events.

This place is a nice walk back in time and a great way to learn about some Mississippi history! Be sure to check out the vast arrowhead collection during the tour of the grounds. Great place for a student field trip!

I went as a chaperone on a 1st grade field trip. I must say that despite it being super packed with many other buses and students, it was well organized and had plenty stations to visit in case yours was busy. They offered a hayride tour, cookie, milk, free pumpkin which was awesome, a brief song & dance, & lots... More
