A Great few days/nights !. Pros: First let me say I am a good player, NOT by any means high roller. If you LOVE to play, they have a great selection of slots, EXCEPT Buffalo, Lighting Link, Dragon Link. Am SURE IV would make even more money to have these popular machines. Had so much fun playing no matter what. Service was great in the casino this time. We go to the IV alot as we are locals.
Food: Prime Cut is Excellent for a few apps! We went at 5pm and had their blackened beef tenderloin and bacon wrapped shrimp which was the best! Great place for a nice dinner as well. Service again was top notch. :

Negatives: Rooms now let's be honest, very clean, and basic, we were in the Casino Tower. However extremely OLD rooms, dated rooms, carpet furniture so old, needs updating so bad! You all re did the elevators now it's time for the rooms! and awful TV's! 13 inch come on..I know who wants to watch TV but when you are in the room, at least have a TV that works!
It all comes down to what you want, a "resort "with expensive dining, fancy rooms and alot of tourists go somewhere else, or a really low key, down to earth fantastic casino with many comps and fun...go here to the Island View.

My husband and I have been going to IVC since shortly after it was opened. We love this place and the people, but we are shocked lately with the rise in prices with some of its dining venues. We always eat at Blvd. Steamers when we come, but noticed that they have raised the prices this year several times. If it was a dollar or two, I wouldn't even be saying anything, but we are talking quite a bit. I'm hoping it is not out of greed. Since they no longer serve crab legs at the buffet, we look at the other casinos to see who has them and we found three. In looking at the other casinos over this past year, we have noticed that no one else is raising their dining venue prices like IVC, and most haven't even raised it at all. I can understand raising prices slightly, but not like what they are doing. I wish someone with IVC could give me an honest explain as to why the drastic increase. We just don't understand why other casinos don't raise their prices, but IVC needs to. We would love to just be able to stay there for our whole visit, but we are now finding other places to go eat dinner. Such a shame.

U are right about locals. U will spend more than u win. I've talked to so many out if town ppl and they get way more freeplay plus free weekend hotel rooms and free food and they only come to do their freeplay. I was going there almost everyday or every other day and they continue to lower my freeplay and I've only had my name called out once. And idk how these pple go in there to do the tournaments and can win 2500 or even 600 when I can't even win anything doing those tournaments I guess u gotta live out of town or be known very well to win anything like that. I know alot of us locals will start going to the scarlet pearl since they treat their locals alot better

Regarding hotel and free play offers, all direct mail offers are based on qualified rated play which is calculated by the proper use of your players’ card. Both local guests and out of town/out of state guests earn offers the exact same way. Offers may vary, depending upon day of the week, holidays and seasonality. View play is not calculated as part of your qualified rated play. Therefore, each time you visit and only use your offer, your rated play is affected. Based on how often you visit, it may take up to 60 days for your offers to change.

Well, I tried this place again. BIG MISTAKE. I came here to escape the snow and ice front in Alabama. I did get a couple of food comps and free play, BUT out of $186 in free play, I only won a whopping $32 in money. There were no bonuses on any machine I played. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would give the money back to them, but they don’t give you anything TO GIVE BACK. There was not one person in the place winning anything. I walked around and watched, and again, no one looked happy. No one was winning. No one was having one ounce of fun. I’ve been hearing that they are about to sell out and now I believe it. I honestly think this place is taking every penny from every person who walks in just to keep their head above water. Trust me, take your money and good times elsewhere. You would come out better paying for a room, than to get their free rooms and less than mediocre buffets any day

The storm damaged the pool. Before you go, call. The restaurant had a wonderful shrimp poboy with large shrimp that tasted like it was just caught an hour ago (never frozen). Cost was only $12.95 for a large sandwich full of overflowing shrimp. We sat outside (fresh air) overlooking the gulf. Just wow.
The casino on the water (the non smoking side) was gorgeous. I sat by a window and looked at the water and birds while gambling. We went early in the morning to avoid crowds. Drinks were more frequent than anywhere else.
We won money unlike some other casinos in town.
I will visit again, and again, and again..... I'm in love with Island View Casino. So much fun!

This was our second visit to Island View Casino Resort this year. We love the property with the entertainment and amenities. If you choose not to play in the casino, there are two pool areas to choose from. The property is located on the Gulf of Mexico. They also have a smoking and non-smoking option for hotel and casino. The north building is the smoking side, and the beach building is for non-smokers. There restaurant several restaurants and we've never had a bad meal at any of them

Weirdest thing. I was playing blackjack at 10am and bought in with 500. Started winning and was betting more. 3 or 4 hundred a hand. Got up to a few thousand was at a table with 1 other guy and we were being polite and just relaxing. A few minutes later the pit bossis watchign me. Middle age guy with bald head. Then security comes up and asks for my ID and the pit boss comes up holding some BOLO paper and him and the security guy are talking trying to figure out if it's me. I was respectful the whole time. More or less confused and he asked if I was there around September which I stated I wasn't because I was on deployment in another country. After a few more minutes of debating with the security guard if it was me in the picture he told me you need yo leave. We don't want your action here. I was dumbfounded but I got up and left. Sad thing was I hit 7 jackpots on the slots the day prior but never use a players card so he probably didn't know that.

We ate at the Cafe on the water last month, giving them another try from the mediocre food we got last time. The hamburger was tasteless, no seasoning and the bread was cold. My daughter's chicken tenders, which she gets in every restaurant on the coast, were dark brown and over cooked in stale grease. My husband's philly cheese steak barely had anything on the bun. It was embarrassing, really. I dont know who the chef is in there but it's really bad now. It used to be good but each time it gets worse. Somebody better do something because hardly anybody was in there at 100 on Friday.

Don’t post often but now I’m going to do more posting. Island view casino is contingent to slip more and more. Rooms are always okay and clean no complaints. 4 stars . Now is where it gets worst. Let’s start at the buffet, used to be one of the better buffets in the Biloxi area. Presentation was awful and the food matched. It looks like food is being rolled over from lunch no changes. Employees standing behind food stations just talking and not paying attention to the food. Even though I did not want want fried chicken pan was empty and people were waiting. Take into account there was no more the 100 people were there. Waited 5 minutes to get a bowl of ice cream no one around. Desserts looked like crap. Shrimp overcooked so I know nothing is being made fresh again rolled over from lunch . If food wasn’t comped I would have walked out and demand refund. Rather go to Golden Corral . Gambling is gambling always expect to lose and when I win it’s a bonus . Drink service has continued to become worse and worse. Played from around 7pm til after 1 and only seen server 3 times and still waited for 10 minutes to get cocktails. Going to give it another couple of times and then think about moving along and spending my money elsewhere. Overall between a 2 and 3. 2 years ago between 2.5 to 4.5.

Regarding the buffet, if you could send us an email with the words "TripAdvisor.com Review" in the subject line I would really appreciate it. In this email I would like some more specifics such as the date and time you visited the buffet. This will help narrow down who was working so we can take care of any problems, such as the ones you mentioned. We would like to correct any problems we might have, but are unable to do so without the assistance of our guests. So once again, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
As far as our Cocktail Waitresses go, they are each assigned a specific section, and are required to make a full loop through that section no less than 20 minutes due to Mississippi serving regulation. Therefore, if you are changing machines (going into a different section), or if it's a particularly busy night, it may take longer for you to see a cocktail waitress than normal.

Wife and I were staying in Biloxi for 5 nights. On the first night we made a Trip to the Island View Casino and Beach Casino which are very close to Biloxi. Wife did great at the Island view. Since I don’t smoke I hit up both places.
We got our players club cards first thing and then hit the buffet which I’ll review separately if I can. Once we had our fill at the Buffett we took on the slots. The Casinos were very clean and bright. Lots of excitement on the floor. I had one or two small but nice wins. As I said, wife did better.
We stayed a bit more than an hour on the slots and left. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area.

Our hotel rooms do not have Keurig coffee machines, but we do provide mini coffee makers in all rooms for your convenience. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Unfortunately we do not keep microwaves in the hotel rooms. Prior to the COVID19 shutdown we had microwaves that a guest could rent upon request, but to maintain proper cleanliness standards we are not renting microwaves at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Currently we do not have crab legs on the buffet do in order to lessen the amount of food eaten with your hands (COVID19 prevention), however, we normally have crab legs on our dinner buffet. Check out the Buffet menu on our website!
