We stopped in and were surprised by how informative the staff was and important historically the mounds are. There are mounds in many states. Makes me want to find the ones in my area.

We were doing a day trip in the delta one day and found this on the way to Greenville, MS. It was very informative about the cultures on the native american's that inhabited the areas.

This is a great place for the family to go and see a little bit of history. Plenty of room to have a nice picnic with the family.

Not many artifacts and only access to one of the large mounds at the moment due to some construction work going on. Friendly staff.

The museum and signage about the mounds were very informative. There is also information about the relationship of these mounds and the people that built them to other mounds in the US. However, the mounds themselves were not much to see. The mounds are very...More

Visited Winterville Mounds while in Greenville for the MS River Marathon. Interesting video at the visitors center telling the story of the mounds. Well worth the time.
