We have loved the Scarlet Pearl until this time. I must’ve accidentally booked a handicapped accessible room and they said they couldn’t change it but could upgrade to higher floor and corner room. Wow that should be fine, I thought. This is the strangest room with no closet, an ironing board propped against the wall, a safe on the floor in the room along with a mini fridge just sitting on the floor. Lots of windows all with terrible views unless you stretch your head around to see some water. Oh and one night stand for a king size bed. Yikes I pity the people who actually book one these rooms and need it to really be handicapped accessible. So disappointed. Last time we had a lovely room and could not wait to come back. This time I feel like crying.

I arrived at 4:30pm and was told the room was not ready so I waited in the lobby right by the front desk and was told I would be notified when room was available. After watching 10 different people check in before me and almost 2 hours later I asked whats the deal with my room they finally got me in after complaining a bit. I get to the room and the view is of the parking garage unacceptable!. I tried to get another room but they would not do it. I drove 9 hours to get here had to wait almost 2 to get my room and I belong to their players club. This is how you get treated here for your loyalty?. I will rethink when I visit Biloxi next time. Definetely cannot recommend

Arrived on 7/13/2021 at 4p.m. for a "well earned" three night comp stay. It was a celebration of my wife's 67 birthday and our 43rd wedding anniversary. This was not our first stay at the SP. The front desk clerk, Dominique, assigned us to room 405 without hesitation. We know nothing is guaranteed regarding room preference but, for the record, we had requested an upper floor in advance. Upon entering room 405 we immediately became extremely disappointed with the view and particularly the furnishings and layout. This room was not fit for adult habitation and surely management knows this. After two nights of our 3 night stay we'd had enough. We met with Jessica, the front desk manager. She listened to our plight and went above and beyond to make things right for our final night. We had previously decided never to stay at the SP again, but Jessica has caused us to rethink this. If only Dominique had cared as much.

Me and my husband went to the Casino. My husband was denied entrance because a guy at the front enterance said my husbands service animal was not allowed. Yet they did not have a sign stating no services animals allowed. And by fedral law in Mississippi to the casinos service animals are to be allowed. This Casino is the only one that has not allowed my husbands service animal into its casino. And the site where people state you can stay in the parking lots is a lie. You will get ran off if you try to stay in the parking lots. Even the one thats opened.

I went last week for 2 nights. Since I was early I had to wait for my room which was fine. As I sat there I thought hmmm I wonder is they have any suites to pamper myself. I went back and asked and yes they do have a few options. I decided to take a upcharge of $60 for a panorama view each night, which was nice except looking at the parking garage. When I got up to my room the clock was off by more than 1/2 hour and it was freezing in there. I had to change temp to 70 to warm it up. I was really tired from driving so didn’t notice much and went out to check the area out and got back around 10:30 pm. I always take a shower before bed from all the smoke and humidity no doubt. Little did I even know there was NOT a walk in shower like their glorious regular rooms. Glass door to try and get a non bending knee up and over the HIGH slender tub the next morning…(since I knew I could not battle that at late night) and being tired. I didn’t get any sleep at all thinking how the heck am I going to get in that shower! They do NOT have handles to hang on to so it’s either the loose glass door OR the pole that holds the shower head in realizing that they may break as I loose balance and what do I want, cuts by glass door or torn out shower wall..hmm? I barely made it in but getting out was extremely difficult. I’m not that large just have bad knees that don’t bend well. I immediately got down stairs after dressing and told them to get me out of that room and how the clerk should have told me it’s not a walk in shower. If she would have mentioned a bath to me , I would have asked if it was separate from the shower. NO way would I ever take that room again because not only does it not have as much counter space in bathroom as the regular rooms, the toilet is in a very odd way. If you want a upgrade I suggest making someone walk you up to THE ROOM you will get to check it out first. I asked if I can see it and she said NO because if I go walk inside and out again to look around, they would have to redo the whole room. I understand because now a days you can not trust anyone to plant things etc in rooms. Again, the regular rooms are beautiful.

I have been going to the Scarlet Pearl on a regular basis from the time it has opened about three times per week. On Friday June 30,2023 my wife and I had our first bad experience there.when we sat down at the Mississippi Stud table we were informed that all of the table games minimum bet had now been raised to 21/2 times the regular rate for the weekend. After looking around at the other tables we soon realized that there were very few people playing any of the so called “carnival games “ After talking to a handful of the people that we normally play these table games with they were all very outraged at this change. Most all of them left and went to other casinos. We left the Scarlet Pearl and went to the Hard Rock where they did not raise their table limits for the weekend. We played there wit three of.the people who we normally play with at the Scarlet Pearl. One player that we play cards with almost every weekend travels from north Alabama and stays at the Scarlet Pearl advised me she has never been to the Haddock in Biloxi and stated that she really likes the atmosphere. She complained that the Scarlet Pearl has been removing some of the amenities that attracted her to come there each weekend. Quote “ Buffet, live music” she said that she plays between $2,000.00- $5,000.00 per visit. But withe the changes and fewer amenities at the Scarlet Pearl she is going to try the Hard Rock out for awhile.
It appears that upper management at the Scarlet Pearl has lost sight of the fact that the people who come to the casino are there for Entertainment and a pleasant experience. There is one sure way to kill a business and that is to take away what the patrons are coming there for. When you are a Stand Alone casino you need every player you can get. You don’t need to give your regular players a reason to go look at other casino’s.

This was our first stay at this casino and it was great! The casino has all amenities that you could want but in a smaller, more accessible area. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed by surprising us with champagne and giving us a good room location for our anniversary! Everyone (including the dealers) were so friendly and helpful, plus it was so pretty and clean around the hotel. We also enjoyed playing mini golf there which was a nice plus. The only negative thing is that the pool was in a weird (front of building) location so even though there were trees for some privacy, it wasn’t that big and you could hear traffic sometimes. Overall will definitely recommend this hotel for a nice place, non-chain hotel that’s not as busy as others nearby.

Positives: Nice adjoining rooms for retired ladies who travel together. Bellman John was great. Very clean and quiet.
Beware of the RULES: To check in, you must present the exact same credit card used to make the reservation. NO other card will be accepted. After about 15 minutes, a supervisor finally approved. Now, we learned about rule 2. Only one room was ready, so we said "no problem", we will get our luggage in that room, and wait for the 2nd room to be ready. Guess what. Noone is allowed on the elevator without a room key, which I couldn't get until my room was ready. I asked if visitors were allowed to go up and was told NO. That's the security rule. After getting both rooms, we needed ice. Machine on 7th floor was broken. We were told we could get some on the 3rd floor.
We decided to go out for supper, so went to Valet station. No one there. Others were waiting too. We called and texted the hotel, and he showed up a few minutes later.
Back in the rooms later, TV would not work. We were told the entire hotel was affected, so sorry. AFter our 2 night stay, we had the same Valet problem. After texting for help, they sent someone who said only 3 were working valet and bell service.
We won't return, even for complimentary rooms.

This casino looks nice at first glance. After you look closer, you notice dirty machines and worn out carpet. I'll start with The Noddle Bar. It is AMAZING. Go there, then leave. The High Roller Room is very small in amount of slot games. They are tight machines. Very tight. In 20 minutes we went through 1,000 and didn't have any line pays or bonuses. None! The drink girls are super fast and the drinks are high quality. The bathroom Toto Bidets are fabulous. The Desert/coffee bar is so freaking slow with service that we left. Three people in line and it took ten minutes for one transaction to be completed. 10 minutes per person. It was not worth my time. The pool music was so obnoxious when we entered and left the casino. Trashy people were twerking all around. It was gross. GROSS. A lot of casino patrons dressed like they were ready to do yard work or in their pajamas.

We are local but always STAY and PLAY at our FAVORITE casino, the SP! We used to stay at the BR but changed for several reasons. The Service, Host we have is Karol Brandt who is fantasic! The foo, service, and very clean.

Cons: WE were put in room 1417, which is the worst room there, sure its a corner however: there was not one drawer, nor dresser in the entire room to put your items! the refrig is located in the closet! the AC and toliet was not working properly at first. No room in bathroom to put your items.

Dont expect your room to be ready early, we stay alot and usually your room is ready by 4pm.. i will never go again on a SAT. too busy!. Love the comps, food, even though they ran out of my favorite item! Seafood Bread!

Overall, still our favorite, except for our horrible room issue!. Just love the Pearl, we will be back ...! just not on a SAT night!
