A must-see when you visit Clarksdale. The owner, Roger Stolle, is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the blues. My husband and I enjoy listening to the blues. However, we don't know much about its history. We bought the book, Hidden History of Mississippi Blues by Roger Stolles. So far, it's a fantastic read! I highly recommend it! The store... More

There is lots of quirky art and blues memorabilia here. And it's also a great place to learn of things to do in Clarksdale and in the Delta. I love the hospitality.

The proprietor was extremely knowledgeable about the area and blues in general. He was friendly and helpful in steering us to "not to be missed" attractions and venues. We visited early in the day and purchased a book on blues history he was kind enough to recommend - he has signed copies of his own blues history book available too.

Tons of local blues cds and all manner of blues related items I found a Terry "Harmonica" Bean cd I was looking for. The owner had a list of the local live music venues and recommended Red's to see Big A that night. Great show! The place for all blues' info in Clarksdale and beyond!!

The owner (Roger) was so awesome. Such a great place for music/art/history on the region. He let's you know what is going on in town - best events, music, eats, etc. And he is the honcho that has helped set up all of the music/film festivals for Clarksdale...so he is the real deal.

I've been visiting this store since 2006, and I always want to buy everything in it! I enjoy browsing, buying gifts, and bringing tourist-friends into this place I love the colours inside and the quirky exterior. I love that it always seems to be decorated for Christmas. I love the mini-music festivals that Cat Head hosts during the year. They... More

If you want to know where to find great music in Clarksdale - go here first. The owner is a blues aficionado and has been an instrumental figure in Clarksdale's revival. Also - great music selection!

Excellent selection of music, a lot of it hard to find elsewhere. Significant collection of less well known artists. The contribution that Cat Head makes to the community is amazing.
