We arrived in clarksdale and I knew I wanted to swing by this place, after a long trip what we needed was a cold beer and some nibbles, we grabbed a quick sharing platter and it was plenty for us, I loved the rustic feel...More

Cool atmosphere. We were hoping to meet Mr. Freeman but, he was away filming and I wonder if her ever gets enough time to himself. As an openly transwoman I felt comfortable and respected. Wait staff was friendly and warm but, slow as molasses in...More

Visited it for lunch after visiting the blues museum only a few feet away... friendly staff... the atmosphere was that of a blues juke joint of days gone by with writing on the walls a stage and bar style food... I had the BBQ nachos...More

The visit to the Ground Zero Blues Club was one of the main reasons that we stayed in Clarksdale & I've got to say that the whole experience was underwhelming. Whilst the music was top drawer the food & service levels were extremely poor &...More

I enjoyed visiting Ground Zero....without even entering the building. We were driving thru on a Sunday morning, so nothing in town was open. But we had a wonderful time driving around thru town seeing the sites, all the while cranking up the Delta Blues in...More

It was cool to visit, and since there are not a whole lot of food options nearby, you'll want to eat there, too. We had pulled pork with slaw and beans. It was good, authentic bbq. I was a little surprised the band was playing...More

We popped in here during the day on our travels and it definitely has a lot of history... you can tell by the writing all over the walls! Somewhere I've always wanted to visit and it didn't disappoint

The Rust Bucket Roadies were playing on our visit! Awesome sounds and good time. Smoked pork was awesome, as were the fried green tomatoes. Burger was ok. Fried chocolate delight was VERY salty. We loved our time there and hope to visit again!!!

I did not have a bad experience. In fact I said ... Clarksdale is a great music town with music from each establishment that was open, on the street and well worth the side trip.
