It's been a few years since I've been here. This time I was with my sister. We parked and meandered through the cemetery for a couple of hours. It is rich with history and many of the headstones are beautifully carved, some so old, the writing was no longer legible. There was extensive damage from Katrina, but most has been... More

My wife and I go through this cemetery every time we are in Biloxi. Its historical value cannot be over stated. This might seem a little morbid to some, but on the right day. With the right weather.(Not to hot and not raining.) alot of very insteresting things can be found here. Many headstones are so old you cannot read... More

We drove around this very large cemetery looking at very very old headstones. Some were so old you couldn't read what they said on them. Several were damaged by Hurricane Katrina and had to fixed as best the could. Interesting history

Visited this peaceful but interesting place on a beautiful sunny and warm March day. Walked around for about half an hour, seeing what information people put on their headstones in "the old days". Birth and death dates of course, plus where they were born and died (many had been born overseas; some died there). Some had nicknames such as Boy... More

If you have a little extra time, it's definitely an interesting place to visit. The cemetary is well cared for, and you will see some extremely old tombstones.

The cemetery has many above ground crypts which is something I haven't seen anywhere but New Orleans. The cemetery is very old and clearly a piece of Biloxi history, but it is well maintained.

This cemetery has some beautiful old gravestones and crypts. The live oaks that twist themselves thru the site are so incredible and lend to the peacefulness here.
