We came here over the Easter weekend - the weather was not fantastic, but after a long drive we needed somewhere to stretch our legs.

We are National Trust members, and so had this one on our list. We parked down in the lower car park (free to NT members), and took the walk along the cliffs up towards the lighthouse.

The views were fantastic, and the kids loved it. One thing to mention is that there are some steep drops off the cliffs, and parts of the cliff are eroded, so those with children on the trail should exercise caution.

A fantastic beach with stunning views across to the lighthouse, St Ives and the extensive nature reserves and Dunes.

Good parking, plenty of cafes and if you decide to get some fresh air and exercise its the place to go as the beaches here extensive some 3 miles to Hayle!

This is a great place to have a walk either along the beach or along the cliff side. Wide open expanses in every direction, some great vistas and not too busy- at least when we were there, though admittedly this is not high season!

The lighthouse proved a good photo opportunity but what most tourists seem to flock here for are the seals, which you can see in abundance from the top of the cliffs on the beach far below.

The only sad part is the cafe, which seems to have gone quite downhill since our last visit. Thankfully it’s only a short drive in to Hayle or even st Ives where a friendlier service awaits.

Was blown away by our visit today to see the seals. A short 5 mins walk from top car park at godrevy or 15 mi it’s walk from godrevy national car park. We see 2 seals already laid up on beach and was lucky enough to watch 3 more come in from sea, stumbling over the rocks to their resting place. Experience we won’t forget

A fantastic piece of coastline (even when the sun isn't shining). It's National Trust run (pay for car parks unless you are a member). There are two car parks; you'll probably find the first (mediumly-large) will be more than likely over-run by windsurfers but, if you are lucky, the second (extremely small) offers spectacular views over the coast. Walks (from both car parks) are available and there are plenty of information boards available. For the walks, wheelchair and push-chair users can use the road as the other walks follow the cliff path

We really enjoyed our walk around Godrevy point despite a blustery wet & windy October day, the icing on the cake was seeing the seals lazing around without a care in the world at Mutton Cove!

We hadn't planned to visit here but came across it on our drive home. There are 2 large car parks but they were very busy - the volunteers were doing a good job helping people to park. Being National Trust members, parking was free. A friendly, helpful young man directed us to the circular walk to see the lighthouse. The scenery off the coast of Cornwall is stunning and the view across to the lighthouse was no exception. It was a shame we didn't have more time to explore the area.

A long stripe of white sand, green waters and people surfing.

You can also walk along the coast up to the Godrevy lighthouse and beyond to the Hell's Mouth. Great scenery, ensure you do not disturb the seals.

We parked at the higher car park, and walk to see the beautiful views around. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.
