We didn't spend much time in the visitor center but just started walking on the trail. It was well marked and had many beautiful spots to stop along the way. Lots of stairs on the loop path but not too strenuous if you don't want it to be. Good stuff!

This is a great spot to get out and go for a walk. There are some steps and a little climbing involved but nothing too difficult for someone in normal health. The scenery is gorgeous...lovely waterfalls. There is a great little gift shop on site as well.

Gooseberry Falls is from the Gooseberry River just before it enters Lake Superior. It is multiple falls in a very scenic location and worth visiting. Parking is close to the visitor center and they have live informative talks by park employees. They have many hiking trails for those who want to walk in the area.

Incredible views of the Falls, a very informative visitor center. Three levels of viewing, we liked the middle level, as it's more spectacular. A must, in Northern Minnesota.

Fun place to stop for hiking, swimming, picnicing, and photos! Very nice and large gift shop with just about anything you may need during your visit. Our dog loved splashing around in the water and was on a leash due to the current. Lots of amazing photos, but keep a very close eye on your pets and kids!

This was very nice. easy walk to the upper and lower falls and lots to admire with the beautiful falls. Water was fairly high so the mist cooled you off by the falls. Very nice gift shop as well located on site. Don't miss this on your north shore excursion.

We really enjoyed our stop. Got in quite a bit of hiking and saw all the falls and the lake. Very pretty and the trails are easy for at least three of the falls. The fifth falls is a little rougher trail and wouldn't be good if you are not very stable on your feet but not that hard if... More

A must see stop if you are driving the North Shore... Nice hiking trails to the falls. Not super long. Great photo ops just a short drive from Duluth.

Easy to walk to and amazing to see. All the recent rains made it even better our first stop on the north shore of Mn. Well worth a stop and pictures

Breathtaking views. We talked with an employee who says they average about 6,000 visitors a day during the summer. We went on a Saturday night around 7 and had the place practically to ourselves. Highly recommend.
