No walk path because the water was way up. Very beautiful area to walk. A must if you go to Stillwater. Stop at a pub....Charlie's.....have a drink and walk the path. Very Nice.

Great park with an amazing view of the river and bridge going from Minnesota to Wisconsin! From here you can walk across the bridge into Wisconsin. Somewhat difficult to find a parking spot in the area on a Saturday. From here you can take a quick walk to Mainstreet to see the many shops and MANY restaurants in Stillwater! Had a nice walk in the park. Nice buildings in the area for picture taking (there were multiple wedding parties in the area throughout the day). Water was coming up on the sidewalk that was right near the water. Can fish from the side.

Scenic views of the St Croix River and the historic Stillwater Lift Bridge from the park with nearby shops and restaurants in downtown Stillwater. This is also the start of the excellent Brown’s Creek Bike Trail

If you like riverfront promenades, and you are visiting Stillwater, you might enjoy this riverfront park. There is a shady pavilion right over the water, where you can sit on a bench and listen to the gentle waves hit the riverbank. Parts of this park are still closed after the flooding, but I can imagine that the park will be even more attractive once the cleanup is complete. One block from the restaurants and shops on Main St.

This park is perfect both winter and summer seasons. Its a nice park to take a stroll along the river. It has some nice ice sculptures during the winter months.

Other than looking at the water, there wasn’t anything else to do. There is orange fencing up due to the water being so high, so there is no walk way. I was hoping for a pier or SOMETHING else to do other than take a couple pictures and then head back to the Main Street.

My husband and I went for a late lunch at Lolo. Afterward, we took a nice walk along the river through Lowell Park South. The river was still high but had started to recede; even the no wake had been lifted just a couple of hours earlier. As proof, there was a guy racing back and forth in speed boat. I guess he wasn’t worried about causing damage to the shoreline anymore, even though the water was still high.

Lovely view of the old lift bridge.

The walkway along the St Croix River was very nice; unfortunately, there is little shade. We were there on a very hot summer day. The trees are there, they just need time to grow. The view across the river must be beautiful during peak fall color.
