My Brother's band, The Rock Godz were playing at Shaney's Tavern. My friend and I went to hear the band. We had a great time. We plan to make it back every time they play. I think Sauk Centre is a great little town !!!!

Take the time to wander, charming. There are some closed store fronts, but the history of the town makes up for it.

A typical small town Main Street, but you could almost imagine Sinclair Lewis walking around here. Interesting collection of businesses and just the place to spend a week end. The leaves were turning too and that just added to the charm!

A very pretty community. I was impressed enough just driving through that I would consider coming to spend more time there!

If you are a literary buff, visit Main Street. This is the title of a book authored by Sauk Centre's own Sinclair Lewis. The Palmer House Hotel and Restaurant is a must stop. Very charming. The movie theater in this town probably has the original...More
