Great Theater that I would classify as one of those that there is probably not a bad seat in the house. quaint, older, lobby is small so you may wait outside to get through security, but overall a great historic theater

I ordered tickets to take our grandson to see "Dogman the Musical" originally to be performed 5/27/20. Then we had COVID and it was delayed to 12/6/20. I was told I had to contact E Tix for a refund. I was patient and after 4 emails and unanswered phone calls. I fully understand all the reasons why rebooking and delays happened, but it has been 1 1/2 years and someone still has my money,
I really enjoy the theatre and have seen numerous shows and even volunteered for them but since they have been acquired by First Avenue I can't seem to get any support or contact to resolve this issue. The events that caused the cancellation had nothing to do with me, but I am the one that is out the $100.

This was our first time at the Fitzgerald Theater, for a couple of concerts. Beautiful old theatre in downtown Saint Paul. The acoustics were very good however that could vary by performance or seat location since our seats were center section on the floor.

The Fitz is a gorgeous historic theater. The ornate decor and intimate setting makes for a unique theater experience. We saw a speaking engagement through Minnesota Public Radio, and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. In addition, the volunteers working as ushers were gracious and helpful. Hands down, I'd recommend attending an event at this venue.

I have been to several shows at this venue. I love the venue, the decor, the history and all the shows.
Unfortunately for me, I can no longer use stairs. I recently ordered tickets for an upcoming show, a little late, so I got the 3rd floor balcony. Then I found out there is no elevator, and all the handicapped and first floor seats were gone. I can't go. :( I'm very disappointed. The manager was very kind and will be refunding my ticket. If you need to have handicapped seating. I recommend buying tickets very early. Only the lack of elevator made me give this venue a 3 of 5 rating.

We were lucky enough to enjoy the Magnetic Fields 50 Memoirs two night show at the Fitzgerald. It was an amazing night. Beautiful venue with great sound. My husband and I loved the place and the friendly staff. Everyone that worked there was extremely friendly. We would love to go back to see another show if possible.

Saw the opening show of the Prairie Home Companion 2016 and it was amazing. The acoustics were perfect and it was easy to park next door. You can't help but feel nostalgic for a bygone era when you walk in the theater. Beautifully decorated and super friendly staff! Can't wait to go back!

The Fitzgerald Theater is probably the most famous for being the home to "Prairie Home Companion" for many years. It is so cute: it even has the private little boxes overlooking the stage. Our family has enjoyed many plays, musical performances, and of course PHC radio shows here. It is a showpiece and treasure of St. Paul!
