What's not to enjoy? Food, exhibits, new products -- all are great. It is easy to spend the entire day, but I recommend going early in the morning to view the fairgrounds at their best before crowds arrive.

I have been taking my kids religiously since they were yey high. We buy everything in advance, share foods and made it affordable on a single parent budget. Face painting, animals, shows, sweets, butterflies and rides. There's something for everyone at the fair!

You can get to University and Snelling on the light rail and then take a bus to the Snelling Avenue entrance of the Fairgrounds. During the Fair, the bus runs VERY often.
