The museum is large and offers many hands on exhibits. They also have two theaters, one an OmniMax with Journey to the So Pacific and the other with The science behind Pixar. The movie schedule changes so best to check before you visit.

Yes no problem when we take a lunch we eat in the area across from where you buy your ticket to get in - they also have lockers where we have stored our lunch when needed

Yes! We left for lunch as well. You have a wristband. Try Cosettas down the street for lunch- it's awesome!
