We joined the MHC primarily to attend the history lecture series that run in the fall, winter. The museum itself is also wonderful with changing exhibits from time to time. Nice book/novelty store too and there is also a cafeteria style restaurant

I recommend getting to the History Center while they still have the Suburbia exhibit up; it's really interesting to see how the culture of suburbia has evolved; especially in the Twin Cities area. Very interactive and great for all ages.

I think that you would need to speak directly to the museum itself for any availability. I would have no way of knowing what they could offer. Sorry!

I don't know, but Saint Paul, Minnesota, where we are located, is about as far from any ocean as you can get and still be in a major North American urban area! This might be a question for a different museum?
