Pretty cool way to spend an hour

We took our cub scout pack there for a "go see it" and I came away pretty impressed. Lots of hands on stuff, interesting and relevant displays, and neat architecture.

Most small cities don't have an environmental science center of the calibre of Cascade Meadow. The design of the area including the parking areas, the wind turbines, the ponds, and the surrounding areas are a great challenge to do our best to be environmentally aware....More

Very interesting learning center

I happened to attend a rain garden seminar on my last visit. I found that very informative. After the seminar, I looked around at the exhibits which are small and probably geared towards grade school groups. Interesting, but not captivating for adults. I'm not sure...More

Learning and fun

We went to explore and learn more about water in Rochester. My son enjoyed playing in the RPU section with appliances and their energy usage. There's a great view of their meadow land and a hands on area about water usage.
