I loved this place. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The house that Dr. Mayo had for his family. Do a little research before your visit but definitely recommend a visit.

Worth the drive out to an earlier day when the Mayo Mansion was alive with the family building this premier health facility. The outbuildings across the road are a photographer's dream. Even on snowy days, it's worth the drive to capture the stone buildings' charm....More

I loved going down mayo memory lane. I really enjoyed learning and thinking about what it would be like during the golden age of the Mayo brothers. I would do this tour again

Went here as a family and we all enjoyed it. Tour guide knew lots of information and was happy to answer all of our questions. The yard was beautiful to look around on as well.

Visited Mayowood Mansion during the Christmas vacation. It is a Christmas tradition sponsored by the Olmsted County Historical Center. The rooms in the mansion are decorated as the Mayo family would have in the days they lived there raising their family. Enjoyed the narrative provided...More

I'm not sure. Contact Olmsted county historical society. There is a good place to rent nearby, called the mayowood stone barn. It's used for events and weddings.
