I loved this place. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The house that Dr. Mayo had for his family. Do a little research before your visit but definitely recommend a visit.

Worth the drive out to an earlier day when the Mayo Mansion was alive with the family building this premier health facility. The outbuildings across the road are a photographer's dream. Even on snowy days, it's worth the drive to capture the stone buildings' charm....More

We enjoyed the beautiful decorations in every room of the mansion. We also learned a lot about the Mayo families.

I loved going down mayo memory lane. I really enjoyed learning and thinking about what it would be like during the golden age of the Mayo brothers. I would do this tour again

I'm not sure. Contact Olmsted county historical society. There is a good place to rent nearby, called the mayowood stone barn. It's used for events and weddings.
