If the tickets you are buying say "limited leg room", take it seriously. They are like the worst airline you ever flew.

Saw the touring version of ‘Tina’ at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Minneapolis. It is an old theatre that could use some updating but overall the acoustics were pretty good. My tip is to not sit in the Orchestra but in the first balcony, as low as possible, and you get great views of the show.

Every seat has a good view. Just a beautiful historical vibe. We had seats in the box and it was well worth the money.

The good thing is that the play started on time. However about 20 minutes into the show approximately 70 people came in looking for their seats with their camera flashlights on. maybe it’s because of the pandemic or maybe people just never learned theater protocols, but at least seven times the same people in our aisle got up and headed out or returned disrupting people seated. WFT this isn’t a football stadium. Our seats have no leg room and this inconvenience of getting up is bothersome. Our inconvenience was not as bad as the people, whom we met during intermission that had a very intoxicated man spill a 3/4 glass of wine on them. It’s upsetting that we spend hundreds of dollars to watch a very good show in such an unruly place. So to say this my last time spending my hard earned cash in this place. The lack of leg room and seats on the main floor, which I would now consider partial view because of the traffic, makes it questionable whether to ever return. I would rather spend money in smaller houses and see good shows. Football stadiums have more class.

This is a beautiful old theater, but be aware that the balcony seats have zero leg room. If you are anywhere close to 6-ft tall your feet will be right up against the seat in front of you while the seat you are sitting in is crushing the back of your calves. Understandable given the age of the theater. Not sure if the main floor seats are any better or not.

Saw Wicked in July 2022. Nearly front row, which is great for seats; not great for bathrooms. 15 minutes intermission is not enough time to get through the cramped halls, use those tiny bathrooms, and then navigate back to your seat again.

I get that I’m going to be charged a premium for the incredibly limited beverage bar, but the addition of a mandatory 18% tip? No thank you.

Some issues here but overall, an excellent venue for watching theater in the Twin Cities. Beautiful theater with classy interior. Good viewing from the front half of the main level or lower section of the balcony (but not the first row where the railing will block your view). Broadway on Hennepin series brings all the big traveling Broadway productions to town including Hamilton, Moulin Rouge, Wicked, Pretty Woman, etc. Located centrally in downtown Minneapolis on Hennepin Ave with plenty of parking lots nearby. It is true there isn't much leg room in the seats but those of us under 5' 10'' don't mind. Line for drinks can get long at intermission but you can wisely preorder your intermission drinks and they will be waiting for you. Also beware of the line for the ladies' room which can stretch all the way across the room and down the stairs.

Just attended the Ron White farewell tour show, April 30, 2022. We are big Ron White fans and we were truly looking forward to a great show. We sat in the balcony section and the sound system was the worst that we have ever experienced. The voices of both performers were loud and garbled to the point that they were impossible to understand. Others that were seated near us voiced exactly the same sentiments. We have attended many shows at the Orpheum, in the past, but never in the balcony. The worst show experience ever. A complete waste of time and a huge disappointment.

Beautiful theatre. Great sound. Seating is very cramped for leg room. If you suffer from knee issues or knee replacement, the seating may not work for you

We were at the Orpheum Theatre to see My Fair Lady. It was a fantastic show! The theatre is attractive and the seats are comfortable. There is a parking garage right across the street which is very convenient. We were in the second balcony but our sight lines were good and we had no complaints. One word of caution - there is no restroom on the second balcony level, so use the restroom before you walk up there or be prepared to walk back down.

We were disappointed at how long it took to get in... Not sure why, but we arrived about 20 minutes before showtime and there were lines stretching out the front and side entrances. By the time we got through the line, through security and up to our seats (without stopping at the bathroom) it was literally show time.
