The Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary is a great place for those interested in nature. It features several different types of gardens including a wooded area, swampy area, and a full-sun area full of sunflowers. It's great to check out the park in the spring when the lady slippers are blooming, or in the fall when the sunflowers... More

Many lovely paths to walk through nature. In the spring there are many lovely wild flowers as are there throughout the summer and fall. Fun to see at different times of the year.

Beautiful garden right in Minneapolis. Has about a mile of trails. Changes with the seasons. Quiet amidst the city bustle

Peaceful, wild, beautiful - a way to get away from the city but to stay in the city. Good especially in the spring when the wild flowers burst into bloom.

This was a beautiful park--well-kept, easy to traverse, quiet, clean, large enough to get a good hour's worth of walking in, small enough not to get lost. There's also an education cabin on site, which is worth the visit. Most of the path is wood chips, and a small part is a boardwalk. The lady slippers were in bloom, and... More

It was a lovely Sunday, perfect for strolling through the garden. We didn't see much color, but it was peaceful and pleasant. A map and in hand would have been helpful so you know which paths to follow. Print one at home. And know your plants, I.e., what blooms when. Plan ahead and read their website as it might give... We came here with our 2 year old hoping to spot some butterflies. There are lovely walking trails, lots of wildlife to point out, and it's staffed with people who can talk to you about the wildlife and history of the place. It's a low-key and pretty place to take the kids.

I come here through the Spring and Summers. I find it relaxing here. This is a pleasant place to walk in as well. I also took my Girl Scouts for a wild flower class here a couple of years back.
