The walking and biking paths around the Lake attract visitors and locals. There are walkers, runners, bikers, people strolling, swimming, sailing and sitting on benches. I have even encountered musicians practicing and I had to stop and enjoy their music. If you have a chance...More

Beautiful/well-maintained paths for running/walking or biking, as well as picnic areas. In the summer there are movies and concerts at the bandshell. There are also piers for casual fishing.

Similar to Lake Calhoun. Nice stop after getting ice cream from Sebastion Joes nearby. There is a busy walking path and lots of cyclists. There is also a trolley nearby. There is an outdoor cafe, plenty of seating, and a band shell.

An essential to appreciating Minneapolis. Summer of course is amazing with sail boats, bikers, walkers, runners, bandshell concerts, lake restaurant and treats, bike and boat rentals, yet all in a very walkable and small urban lake. Winter is amazing with walking/biking trail maintained year-round plus...More
