I love my morning or afternoon walks around Lake Harriet. It's beautiful and you will often see bald eagles, geese and an occasional red fox. Great restaurant by the band shell and Sunday concerts in the summer.

This is a very peaceful place to walk in Minneapolis. If you are new to the city, it has a path that connects all the lakes in the city. You can bike on a separate trail, or walk on a paved path. Good for wheelchairs...More

Hello - can someone tell me how many miles it is to walk or bike around any of these lakes? Harriett, Calhoun, or others? Realistic driving time to the airport on a Sunday afternoon would also be great :) Thank you!
