Avery nice feature in the downtown area. The signage not the greatest if you are not familiar with the city. Also the one night we were walking back dinner it stared to rain quite heavily so we went in the skyway we walked a 3...More

I worked in downtown Minneapolis for eight years and the skyways are a lifesaver in the harsh Minnesota winters. It's so nice to be able to grab lunch or a cup of coffee with your coworker in warm comfort when it is -30 below outside....More

I wouldn't recommend anyone go out of their way to visit the skyways. It's more of a tool to be utilized if you're already in downtown. That being said, it's the largest skyway system in the world! It's quite impressive and contains a lot of...More

This is more of a "if you are there" notice the tubes. Basically, the entire downtown has been linked together like a habitrail. We never found the official entrance. Just know that if you are in town and there is a parade or snow, you...More

Fun to go through the skyways from building to building and wonder around to see what there is on the 2nd floor of each building. Limited shopping, but a lot of restaurants. Most of downtown is torn up getting ready for the Super Bowl in...More

We were going to take the Skyway from our hotel to the Light Rail system. On a Sunday, it was kind of dark and empty except for some folks hanging around. It didn't feel all that safe.

In Minnesota, we tend to have very bitterly cold winters so the Skyway System is very helpful with getting people off the streets into somewhere warm to get to and from whatever part of Downtown they need to go. Very convenient especially for people visiting...More

We used the skyway to get from the Convention Center to restaurants and close to stores. It would be good to use in summer (cooler) or winter (warmer).

Signage good, and often staff people outside key locations. Loved it. You can get from the Hilton to the Convention Center in minutes.

We had four days of cold weather and rain, and turn your umbrella inside out wind, so the skyway system (which took us a bit of time to discover), was a blessing!

You can use the light rail system, for about $2 each way. You can catch it at the airport and if goes to Target Filed which is just a short walk to downtown.

It is comfortable. We walked in just T-Shirts and were quite comfortable. Great way to get around and not have to lug a heavy coat around when it's winter.
