Fun shops and great restaurants

The Minneapolis Warehouse District is host to some of the city's best restaurants, and some fun shops, esp for the ladies. Worth a look.

Lots of restaurants and clubs. It gets kind of crazy when the bars close. Go early if you must. It is a young persons place to go. A lot of people just hanging around.

My son, a musician, took me there to eat, visit a a great club, and listen to some great music. Pizza Luce has great pizza, First Avenue is THE place for concerts and it's just a great place to hang out.

Its proximity to Target Field and the Target Center make the Warehouse Disrptrict the perfect spot for drinks and dinner after taking in a game. There are so many bars and pubs that you will always find a place to eat, no matter how big the game crowd was.

If you are into moody bars with happy hours, dining alfresco (in season) at good restaurants, meeting for coffee in quaint cafes, bike riding in nearby James I. Rice Park then this historic industrial quarter is a place you will want to head to. Also popular in the North Loop of the city are art galleries, smaller retail shops and... More

This area on the edge of downtown Minneapolis is full of historic high-rise warehouses, transformed into lofts and offices. Once used by artists, the area soon became too costly but they left many interesting galleries. Maintaining the creativity theme, buildings now house software, advertising, publishing and marketing firms. For the visitor, numerous restaurants and bars offer dining and the top... More
