The Mary Tyler Moore statue is inside the visitor center is a must see for a Minneapolis trip. The workers inside the visitor center are very helpful and showed our family how to bike to the stone arch bridge.

The street has been torn up for what seems like years now. There used to be a nice little farmers market and lots of stores but everything is moving out because of Minneapolis's crazy ideas. The street is essentially shut down with nothing to do,...More

I read online that the Mary Tyler Moore statue had been moved inside the visitor's center during the construction, so I had no problems finding her! Yes, this was the only reason I went there, BUT everyone who worked at the visitor's center was super...More

It's worth the walk to window shop and check out the stores, but nothing great. If it's cold, skip it and use the skyway! If you're a Mary Tyler Moore fan, you should stop at her sculpture for photos.

They is too many chains there and not enough local businesses. It feels like a generic street anywhere.

The Nicollet Mall, a main mostly pedestrian area in downtown Minneapolis, is being updated and redesigned. For 2016 it is not worth seeing as it is under construction. I am not sure when it will be finished. You can still shop the stores and restaurants,...More
