Great collection! It's in a semi-residential neighborhood, but hands down the best museum in MPLS (over the Walker). It's hand-curated with great historical facts and explanations, and a bit of everything from around the world - from ancient art to the present day. I always...More

I went here for a special exhibit and I only saw a small amount of the rest of the museum, but it looked awesome, the exhibit was spectacular and I can't wait to go back to see everything else in the museum!

This is a hidden gem. If you are into art at all, and even if you are not, this is an excellent museum. An eclectic collection of art. Check out the period rooms, Picasso sculpture of bronze monkey, impressionist paintings and 1930's car.

The museum has a wide variety of exhibits, with art from around the world. We particularly liked the Chinese exhibit, featuring art work that was hundreds of years old.

Sorry, not sure how to quickly get there from Woodbury. If you get to downtown Mpls you can take the Nicollet Avenue bus and get off on 24th and head a few blocks east.
