Love the Brandenburg Gallery. I also enjoy Mr. Bradenburg's facebook page and the images and videos that he posts there. His story about the wolf pack is heart breaking.

We own one of his paintings and enjoy looking at the rest of his collection. He really is a genius with wildlife art. Very expensive but fun to look at.

Ok, I'm biased. I have been a huge fan of Jim Brandenburg's work for decades. I even have a couple signed prints he made when he worked at the Worthington (Minn.) Daily Globe before he went to National Geographic. He splits his time between Ely and Minneapolis, so you might get lucky to find him there.

I was in Ely for the day and stepped into his gallery. I ended up buying one of his prints. Beautiful photography from one of America's most successful. Even if you don't purchase anything, step inside and see this beautiful photography.

I love Jim Brandenburg's art. He is truly gifted, and I enjoyed looking around his gallery, though most things there are beyond my price range. The staff member working at gallery was chilly and did not speak to or acknowledge us in any way (and we were the only people in the store, excuse me gallery) until my sister purchased... More

I love Brandenburg and his work! But I was underwhelmed by the staff. They seemed more interested in other things besides the guests.

Jim has isn amazing eye for photography. Years back the National Geographic Magazine had an article which was a series of photos taken by Jim as he experienced the Ely area. Jim worked his way into "Photography" by traveling and taking photos, lots of photos, and learning from the results. Over time people started to realize that he had the... More

This gallery has a nice array of all Jim's works. Be sure to view the cinematography. Plan to spend more than an hour because there are many prints. Join the Mailing list. The ladies working were very friendly and knowledgeable. So glad we stopped.
